Supporting Talented Students

Tranby College offers a limited number of Scholarship opportunities aimed at celebrating and supporting children who have strengths and expertise in a variety of areas. Scholarships provide a reduction in Tuition Fees (up to 100%) and will be awarded based on the applicant addressing the specific criteria, current school report performance and the results of the Scholarship testing process and interview.

2026 Scholarships – Now Open

Applications are now open for our 2026 Scholarships, commencing 7 April 2025 and closing at 4pm, 8 May 2025. Due to the high volume of applicants, late submissions will not be considered.

We’re proud to offer a range of scholarships for students entering Year 5 to 12 in 2026. These scholarships celebrate a diverse range of talents and aspirations, reflecting our belief that every child learns differently and excels in their own unique way.

Available Scholarships:

  • Academic Scholarship – For students who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement.

  • Fulfilling Futures Scholarship – Supporting students with ambition and drive to succeed in their chosen path.

  • First Nations Scholarship – Designed to support and empower Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.

  • Spirit of Tranby Scholarship (Internal Year 10-12 Applicants Only)– Awarded to students who embody the values and spirit of our College community.

FULFILLING FUTURES SCHOLARSHIP – YEARS 5 TO 12 (General Excellence)

Open to children with an outstanding ability in, and enthusiasm and commitment to: Sport, Performing Arts, Visual Arts or Music. In their application, applicants will need to:

  • Provide evidence of their abilities and achievements (awards, audition video, examples of work, etc.).
  • Provide a reference or endorsement from a specialist associated from their field of interest.
  • Demonstrate sound academic performance.
  • Provide examples of how they live the values of respect, integrity, service, commitment and collaboration.

ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIP – YEARS 5 TO 12

Students who demonstrate outstanding academic ability and commitment to learning are welcome to apply for our Academic Scholarship. As part of their application, applicants must:

  • Evidence their current academic performance.
  • Pay an application fee of $140 to the bank details on the application form.
  • Provide details of themselves and why they would like to be awarded the Scholarship.
  • Provide examples of how they live the values of respect, integrity, service, commitment and collaboration.

Recipients of this Scholarship will also be considered for our Gifted and Talented Program.

Due to the high volume of applicants, applications without payment will not be considered.

Please complete the Application Form and email to principal@tranby.wa.edu.au by 4pm on 8 May 2025 along with the payment of $140 for application.

SPIRIT OF TRANBY SCHOLARSHIP – YEARS 10 TO 12 (Community Service)

Open to Tranby College students only, who can demonstrate their active involvement in local community service activities. Applicants must also evidence sound academic effort and application to their studies, together with examples of how they live the values of respect, integrity, service, commitment and collaboration.

FIRST NATIONS SCHOLARSHIP - YEAR 5 TO YEAR 12

The intent of the scholarship is to provide exceptional educational opportunities for children of First Nations heritage, who have the potential to lead and /or excel within their community, whether that be in academics, sport or in other areas.

Please complete the Application Form and email to principal@tranby.wa.edu.au.

Please note the First Nations Scholarship is open all year round.
